This spencer is designed by Kristín Brynja Gunnarsdóttir for E yarn qualities in four sizes. The spencer is worked in stocking stitch. The body, up to the armholes, is worked in the round. The pattern features a border at the sides of the body. Sleeves are worked in the round. Sleeves and body are joined on one circular needle at the armholes and the yoke is worked in the round. The pocket is worked flat separately and fastened to the front of the body.
Small girls in large jumpers are just about the cutest sights I"ve ever seen. When my older girl was young there was a period of some years when she refused to wear anything but dresses and large jumpers. This spencer is perfect for just those young girls who prefer wearing tights and large jumpers to anything else. It is reminiscent of a sweatshirt with a pocket and cut-off sleeves.
