The simplicity of knit and purl stitches is used here with a little twist to keep this project interesting, yet simple to knit. Choose between a longer length that you can knot and stack higher around your neck or keep things snug and short with a single skein project. The cowls are knit in the round.
YARN:
The Fibre Co. Road to China Light (65% baby alpaca, 15% silk, 10% camel, 10% cashmere, 145 m (159 yd) per 50 gm hank)
Long version in Tanzanite 2 hanks
Short version in Blue Tourmaline 1 hank
NEEDLES:
3.75mm, 40 [80] cm circular needle (or size to obtain gauge)
TENSION/GAUGE:
24 sts and 40 rnds to 10 cm measured over mistake st rib before blocking, 21 sts and 39 rnds after blocking, using 3.75mm needles.
GARMENT MEASUREMENTS:
Circumference: 50 [120] cm
